Product List
Another important parameter when choosing the optimal protection diode is the capacitance of the diode. This is especially important for high-speed datalines; for example for USB, HDMI or DVI-port protection. Nexperia offers protection diodes in six different capacitance classes, from standard capacitance to femto Farad capacitance. Each class is labeled with one letter: S for standard capacitance over 50pF, L for low capacitance between 20 and 50 pF, V for very low capacitance from 5 to 20pF, U for ultra low capacitance from 1 to 5 pF, X for capacitance between 0.5 and 1pF, and the recently introduced F-capacitance class for protection diodes with less than 0.5pF total capacitance.
