The final block diagram in this presentation is for an Advanced meter reading application, another rapidly growing space. TI has a complete advanced metering team. In this solution the Concerto device is running the PLC and working with an MSP430, the metering SOC. This combination can do the AC/DC conversion, the system conversion, and then it can drive either out to a home network or wireless LAN or WAN with external devices. There are a variety of different applications that can be done with this device, these examples only touch the tip of the iceberg.
