Product List
In the previous example it was shown that a single element of a slider can be used as a single touch. Shown in this slide is a more complex gesture implemented using multiple elements to make up the slider. Sliders are useful for inputs such as a volume control or any input that requires a plus/minus adjustment (i.e left/right balance). The slider uses a single finger that traverses the pads as shown in the figure. The architecture of the pads is set such that when the finger crosses a boundary between two pads there is a change in both of the selected channels. This can be seen by the plot highlighting the change in counts as the finger crosses each of the boundaries. The firmware can make position determinations based on the capacitance values of the adjacent pads across the slider.
