QuickSense C8051F990 Low Power MCU with Capacitive Sensing Slide 2
The C8051F9xx product family is designed to increase battery life, which is the primary requirement for most battery powered applications. The F9xx has a low active mode current consumption which saves power when the application is running. It also has low current consumption sleep modes that save power when the device is sleeping, often the majority of time in battery powered applications. The C8051F9xx integrates an LDO regulator and DC-DC converter, improving the power efficiency and further increasing the battery life. Silicon Labs offers a broad portfolio of F9xx footprint compatible, low power microcontrollers with from 2 kB to 64 kB of Flash memory. The C8051F9xx family includes MCUs with DC-DC converters offering power efficiency and low voltage operation, sub-GHz wireless MCUs and capacitive touch sense MCUs to replace mechanical buttons and lower BOM cost.
