The breakdown of the Gen 2 SLLIMM part number nomenclature is shown on this slide. All SLLIMM IPM module part numbers begin with STGI, where the G indicates it is an IGBT based device and the I indicates a SLLIMM IPM module. The fifth alpha character relates specifically to Gen 2 devices, indicating whether or not the part has a DBC thermal interface substrate or is a full molded epoxy package. The sixth and seventh numeric characters indicate the maximum continuous current at 25°C. The eighth and ninth alpha characters indicate the technology speed of the IGBTs employed. The tenth and eleventh numeric characters indicate the IGBT breakdown voltage, divided by ten. The next three alpha characters indicate the type of temperature sensing or thermistor used, or if it has one at all. The last character indicates whether or not the package is a short or long lead package.
