A leadless replacement to an SOT371 can bring up to 82% of PCB space savings by utilizing a modified pin-out. The SOT1033 shown here uses a double row of pins along all four sides of the package, as opposed to a single row of pins on just two sides of the package. This simple technique drastically reduces the package footprint.
