This chart highlights some of the space savings realized by migrating from a leaded package to a leadless solution. A 14 to 20 pin leadless package can bring a 75% size reduction over a 14 to 20 lead TSSOP. A TSSOP 48 equivalent in DQFN leadless is 78% smaller and a Micropak leadless can be as much as 65% smaller than its Picogate leaded equivalent.
