Application development and demonstration of the L99H01 and VN7013XP are available in a DC-motor control tool that provides a ready-to-use application for customers. The development platform is a motherboard/daughterboard configuration with straightforward USB interface to a PC for software and user interface configuration control. The VNH7013XP power board has direct connection access for a motor and power supply for ease of use. The control software and user interface allow direct access to various control parameters such as output current limit, output current and voltage slew rate, PWM frequency and duty cycle, motor direction, etc. Indicators on the user interface highlight diagnostic and self protection activities, and SPI communication status and activity. The demo platform is also a fully documented reference design architected and demonstrated to a high level of EMC immunity. The demo platform gives the user everything needed to configure a motor control and diagnostic operational configuration for any user application.
