The TDA8922C and 20C were recently introduced to improve power output and the operating voltage range. The TDA8920C’s power output is 2 x 110W, while the TDA8922C power output is 2 x 70W and can be used in BTL or mono for power outputs of up to 210W. Some of the features and enhancements of the series include: pin compatibility with the TDA8920B and 22B, supply voltage range of +/-12.5 ~ +/- 32.5V, over voltage protection at +/-33 ~ 35V, thermal fold back, and oscillator tracking of 250 ~ 450Khz. The parts are available in the HSOP24 and SIL23 package types. Both parts are pin for pin compatible for easy board stuffing options making it easy to design one PC board for various power output requirements.
