This slide shows the SA58671UK, a stereo, filter-free, low power class-D audio amplifier with an operating voltage of 2.5V - 5.5V. The part features independent shutdown controls for each channel with a gain that can be set at 6 dB, 12 dB, 18 dB or 24 dB using the G0 and G1 gain select pins. Immunity to noise and RF rectification are increased by high PSRR and a differential circuit topology. The SA58671 delivers 1.3 W/channel at 5V and 720 mW/channel at 3.6 V into 8Ω. It delivers 1.2 W/channel at 5V into 4Ω. Also, the SA58671 provides thermal and short-circuit shutdown protection. In addition to these features, the fast start-up time and the small WLCSP package makes it an ideal choice for portable applications.
