Product List
In summary, LAPIS has expanded the microcontroller family for data logging applications. Highly optimized microcontrollers for data logging applications are available on both 32-bit and 16-bit platforms. The 32-bit offering is a one chip solution which decreases system cost and device count because of the built-in LCD driver, RC-ADC for precise temperature sensor and USB controller. It also uses the widely acceptable ARM Cortex-M0+ based architecture. The 16-bit offering is a one chip solution based on LAPIS 16-bit RISC architecture that forgoes the LCD drivers and USB controller for a smaller solution and low HALT current. In addition, ROHM and Kionix have a broad portfolio of sensors that are great for asset tracking. Development resources such as the sensor shield and individual breakout boards, along with sample code are available for customers to use. ROHM believes these microcontrollers and sensors will fit in the various asset tracking data-logging applications and sensor node types in the connected IoT space.
