For customers that need more performance and features than the KXTJ3, ROHM offers KX122, KX124 and KX126. KX122 and KX124 offer the same performance but in different packages. Enhanced features over KXTJ3 include SPI interface in addition to I²C, higher sampling output data rate (25.6 kHz), internal FIFO at 2048 Bytes, and additional embedded engines such as Tap/Double Tap, Rotation, and Free Fall. On top of that, KX126 adds an embedded step counter over KX122/KX124. The higher bandwidths offered are ideal for critical asset tracking data acquisition needs.
