The latest digital sensor IC, BH1726NUC, is most suitable for obtaining ambient light data for adjusting LCD backlight power. It is capable of detecting a very wide range of illuminance. The latest analog sensor IC, BH1682FVC, has wide illuminance detection range. The sensor output is proportional to the logarithm of illuminance. All of the ambient light sensors are suitable for display brightness control and monitoring light intensity of an environment.
