MQTT is designed for lightweight M2M communications for memory constrained devices, typically MCUs. It is based on the publish/subscribe model in which publisher and subscriber do not need to know each other and do not need to run at the same time. The SSP v.1.4.0 is compliant with OASIS MQTT Version 3.1.1. It provides the option to enable/disable TLS for secure communication using NetX Secure in SSP. It also supports QoS and provides the ability to choose the levels that can be selected while publishing the message. Internal buffers and maintaining queue of received messages is also supported. Mechanisms to register callback when a new message is received and when connection with the broker is terminated are also supported.
