The Block Media Interface Framework is an abstract interface using function pointers instead of direct function calls. Functions are called between FileX® and the block media drivers, such as SDMMC and SPI Flash. The SSP v.1.4.0 provides support for the RAM and QSPI that allow for the use of External QSPI flash as block media storage in conjunction with FileX. The functionality allows for QSPI Flash to be used for external storage with Synergy MCUs that do not support SD/MMC interface.
