The SSP v.1.4.0 supports JPEG and MJPEG drivers that can be used to perform JPEG baseline compression conforming to JPEG Part 2, ISO-IEC10918-2 specifications and supports YCbCr422 (H=2:1:1, V=1:1:1) format for input images. This allows for compressing RAW data (e.g. captured from a camera) into JPEG format to be stored or transmitted as needed enabling applications that require recording or capturing images or video.
