Product List
System controls for the LPC2300 and LPC2400 MCU families feature the Vectored Interrupt Controller, the Phase Locked Loop, Power-On Reset, Brown-Out Detect, various power down modes, emulation, and debugging. The ARM7 core only has two interrupt inputs so the LPC2300 and LPC2400 have added a Vectored Interrupt Controller (VIC) which assigns up to thirty-two interrupts with sixteen levels of prioritization. Additionally, each peripheral has one dedicated interrupt line connected to the VIC with multiple flags and various sources. With these MCUs, any pin on PORT0 and PORT2 can generate an input, therefore granting flexibility to tailor interrupts for each application.
