SRAM

The LPC2300 and LPC2400 series have up to 98 KB of total SRAM on chip which is partitioned as 64 KB of CPU RAM, 16 KB Ethernet buffer, 16 KB for the USB or LCD, and 2 KB SRAM for the RTC. Any remaining RAM from the Ethernet, USB, and LCD buffers may be used by the CPU. The RAM may be accessed as 8, 16, and 32 bit words and can be used for data and code storage. The exception to this is the RTC RAM which can only be used for data storage because it is battery powered and can retain the RAM content if the main power supply is removed.
