Product List
NXP currently has the largest ARM microcontroller family in the market today with the LPC2000 family. The LPC2300 and LPC2400 series of microcontrollers are based on the ARM7TDMI-S core. The suffix TDMI-S describes some of the features on this new ARM7 core. This core includes a Thumb architecture and debug extensions, an enhanced multiplier (32 x 8) that can yield 64-bit results, EmbeddedICE Macrocell to support in-circuit emulation, and fully synthesizable soft IP so standard off-the-shelf MCUs can be used rather than a design with a hard IP core.
