The graphics commands are sent to the command buffer in a similar fashion as the Display List used for primitives.  Display List commands can also be embedded into the Graphics Engine command list.  The command list in this slide would perform the same function of blanking the display as the initial Display List in slide 16. As with sending data for the Display List, these commands indicate to send certain bytes over the SPI or I2C interface to a particular memory location.  For the example Command List shown in the first list above, the actual data that is written over the interface is in the second list.
