Now any time the display needs to be changed, the host MCU only needs to send a new display list to the FT800 and instruct it to swap lists. A new image is displayed each time the list is swapped, otherwise, the current display list is repeated on the LCD. The “application data” line noted above would contain the various commands to draw objects, play sounds, and process touch events. These items are discussed next.
