Smart cities are becoming smarter. Traffic congestion, being able to control lighting and street lights, security cameras, resource allocation and efficient use are all benefits that IoT can bring to the smart city. When looking at the smart home, users are obviously looking at energy conservation. Everyone wants to be more efficient, solar panels, high-efficiency air conditioners and heating, and to be able to control these devices from anywhere. Then, there is smart me, which is really the wearables, this includes a user’s fitness or their health, being able to be monitored by a physician in their home. These are all things that the IoT is bringing to the market.
