In summary, the SPWF01S series modules are 802.11 b/g/n fully-integrated wireless LAN system. It has either an integrated antenna or a U.FL connector, so users do not need any RF expertise. They are fully FCC, CE, and IC-certified with ANATEL certification beginning. It is OS agnostic, so there are no drivers.  ST gets a lot of questions from customers asking for Linux drivers. With the AT command set over UART, users do not need any external drivers or protocol stacks. They are fully integrated with TCP/IP and all of the application layers. Most importantly in the industrial space all modules have a negative 40 to plus 85 temperature range.
