A snapshot on the power line communication roadmap is presented on this slide, beginning with a protocol independent, narrowband transceiver which was developed a long time ago and is still sold in the market as the ST7538 and ST7540. The next platform is called STarGRID, which is evolving in protocols in the Prime Alliance, Iberdrola, and the Enel/Endesa. It is more of an integrated SOC solution for multiple standard narrowband PLCs which allows approaching the home market at different speeds with different systems and the different needs.
