Safe operation of the STAC4933 is guaranteed by one of the industry’s highest breakdown voltages, which is greater than 200 V, a higher load mismatch capability, which is 65:1 in all phases, and by specifying the avalanche energy at 1.2 joules, which is the parameter controlling the self-biasing of the parasitic transistor.
