Product List
A priority for designers of battery operated products is to reduce power consumption in order to either extend the product lifetime or reduce the battery size and cost. The integrated MCU in the Si100x/1x devices has lower current in sleep and active mode without the limitations like failing to write flash or failing to operate the ADC below 2.2V. The higher active mode currents of some devices drain the battery faster when the MCU is operating. Also, higher sleep mode currents of some devices make the particular family a less desirable choice for applications where the MCU is not constantly running.
