Some Toshiba load switch ICs include reverse current blocking. Unlike MOSFETs, which can suffer from significant leakage through the body diode, load switch ICs are able to stop reverse current flow when the switch is reverse biased. This is very useful in cases where there are multiple power sources and the designer wants power to flow only in one direction.
