low power
Load switches can provide on-off switches from the battery to subsystems. For example, for systems in standby mode, it can be more efficient to route power through a low quiescent load switch instead of turning on an inefficient PMIC (Power Management IC). Alternatively, if the PMIC does not have sufficient control logic to turn off specific subsystems, the load switch IC can provide an easy and efficient way to turn power on/off.
