Product List
Previous generations of RX600 and RX700 MCUs use what is called “Direct Drive” to drive a TFT display. This feature has some timing constraints which limit the types of displays that can be supported. On the other hand, RX65x high-density products have a true TFT controller which can drive general purpose LCD panels. The RX65x products can drive up to WQVGA resolution with double buffering and VGA resolution without double buffering, all without the need for external memory. Of course external memory is always an option for resolutions requiring more than 384 kB of RAM.
