In addition to the turn-off controllability on the previous slide, the Turn-ON controllability as well. On this chart, the vertical axis on the left shows the Eon, the horizontal axis shows the Rg(on). Additionally, shown here the Tc case temperature is 25°C. As one can see the turn–on is well controllable by Rg over a wide range. The Rg controllability at turn-on allows, whether needed by the application, the best Rg selection in order to optimize EMI (electro magnetic interference). The TRENCHSTOP5 provides 40% turn-on losses improvement compared to HighSpeed 3.
