In the ZigBee® Cluster Library, a cluster can support zero or more attributes, and attributes define the state of the application on that endpoint when clusters are commands. An example of this is an on/off light which has an attribute that describes whether the light is on or off. It is important to note that attributes are only used in a ZigBee Cluster Library and do not need to be defined in a manufacturer-specific application.
