In ANT documentation the reader will see circles connected by arrows. The circles depict nodes on an ANT network. When the term "ANT Node" is mentioned, it is typically referring to a device, such as a sensor or display device. Each ANT Node will consist of a host MCU that communicates with an ANT Engine. ANT Engines support up to eight ANT channels, depending on the hardware chosen. Available solutions are IC, chipset, module or finished products such as a USB stick.
