Microchip is the highest performing Cortex-M7 MCU designers can get on the market so far. They allow for 50% more performance than the closest Cortex-M7 competition. With this much higher performance, about 3X performance over Cortex-M4 MCU, it opens a lot of new markets which will be covered in this presentation. Additionally, they are the industry's first automotive qualified ARM Cortex-M7 based MCU supporting Ethernet AVB (Audio Video Bridging) and Media LB.
