Wiha Tools has provided the public with officially designed tool holders for their products. The 3D printable files are available for free below and on the https://tlbx3d.com/ website. In support of this, DigiKey has also provided an extended set of models.

A real-world application
This is an image of these tool holders in action on an actual tech station in our applications engineering department at DigiKey.
Things I learned along the way.
Spacing
When I had originally printed these my intent was to mount them directly onto the pegboard interface built into our workbenches.
I found that these tool holders are based on metric measurements, so they cannot create a continuous assembly on 1" spaced pegboard holes. Because of this, I designed the spacer in the image below.
Size
Seven tool holders ended up being too long to be mounted this way. I did think up a solution for this. I designed an adapter to be mounted on the back side of the tool holder that would allow it to be mounted to 35mm Din Rail.
