EPCOS offers the B329xx series for line to neutral connections with an X2 safety class, shown as C1, C2, and C3 in the slide. This series has a 305 VAC rated voltage and a 105ºC temperature range. Capacitances vary up to 45µF, allowing the integration of high capacitance values in one single element. In the case of connection between neutral and ground, a Y2 safety classification is required for the capacitors in order to avoid electrical shock. X2 is impulse tested at 2.5kV, and Y2 is impulse tested at 5kV.
