Digi’s Connect family of modules provides Ethernet to serial conversion, making them an ideal solution to implement networking on an existing design. The Connect module serves as a networking co-processor, providing a TCP/IP stack, wired or wireless connectivity, web services, and as previously stated, wireless security features. The Connect Wi-ME provides wireless 802.11b connectivity in an RJ-45 style enclosure. The Wi-EM adds a second serial port, SPI bus support, and 2 antenna connectors to provide dual diversity for enhanced reception.
