Product List
Depending on the environment your product is deployed in, it may be responsible for transmitting personal, medical or financial information over a wireless network, information that must be protected. Even in industrial networks, it is important to encrypt data to preserve the integrity of the process, which could effect millions of dollars of products, through errors or production downtime. By specifying WPA2 support as required, you can ensure that your products can be deployed in any customer environment, eliminating the risk of reduced sales. Even if customers do not currently require WPA2 now, they may upgrade to it in the future, and if your product is already capable of supporting this, it won’t be replaced by a competitor. It’s important to use a product with current WPA2 support, and not a promise of a future enhancement. WPA2 processing is very hardware intensive, and some vendors may find their products cannot support the requirements when time comes to implement the feature. In particular, products based on 8 or 16 bit processors may find implementation impossible.
