The Cypress PSoC is a programmable, embedded design platform. It includes a CPU, like the 32-bit ARM Cortex M0 for instance, and has both analog and digital programmable blocks. Because of this, it accelerates system design with reliable and easy-to-use solutions such as touch sensing. Due to its unique architecture PSoC also enables low-power designs. PSoC is a proven and reliable solution that has over 1.7 billion units out in the field. Cypress has continuously invested in PSoC technology since the year 2000, and PSoC has been used in many applications, including industrial, consumer, medical, networking, and automotive. Cypress has now introduced a PSoC 4 BLE, which is a PSoC 4 IC with an integrated BLE radio. Cypress qualified the BLE radio in 2013, it was designed on 130-nm Flash-based SONOS technology, and now the BLE radio has been integrated with the PSoC 4 IC.
