This slide presents a snapshot of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performances. Wi-Fi has a transmit power of up to 17 dBm for the 802.11b standard. The sleep current is 160 µA. In idle connected mode; when the device connects to the AP, stays connected, and goes back into sleep mode, the current is 750 µA. Bluetooth has up to 12.7 dBm transmit power. It can support a single antenna as well as dual band antennas. Supporting antenna diversity for 5 GHz, WiLink 8 will select either antenna depending on which is getting better RSSI.
