Shown here are the specifications of the TMS570LS31x series. They are also based on the Cortex-R4 floating point structure and have the same safety features as the RM devices. From a communications point of view the TMS570LS31x have 10/100 Ethernet and the FlexRay communication interface with dedicated DMA. This DMA is called the FlexRay transfer unit and it is designed to handle the high bandwidth of the FlexRay communication protocol while not tying up the main system DMA or the CPU with FlexRay messages. Additional peripherals include: three CAN interfaces, a total of five SPIs: three multi-buffered and two standard, two UARTs, one which supports the automotive LIN 2.1 communication protocol and I²C. Finally, this family has two High End Timers, two 12-bit A to D’s and 16 general purpose IO pins which are capable of generating interrupts.Shown here are the specifications of the TMS570LS31x series.
