The scope plots show the relationship between the transmit control on one PHY and the recovered receive data valid signal of a link partner connected by a short patch cable. The plot on the left shows a typical non-determinist (5*125 MHz clock uncertainty) 32 ns in the recovered signal exhibited by many PHYs. PHYTER products have both a low absolute latency and an architecture that minimizes the jitter of this critical parameter. The plot on the right shows the same measurement with PHYTER showing <3 ns of RX_CLK jitter.
