To reduce loading on the host, programmable limits can be set for the Link Quality Monitor (LQM) that trigger an interrupt if the limits are exceeded. In this way, the customer can decide on the potential failure tolerance level and calibrate the system to respond only when desired. The LQM can be accessed through the comprehensive Integrity utility software.
