RF Reed Relays Presentation Part 1 Slide 36

The first example of this slide again shows a typical rise time change when going through a set of contacts having a given slew rate. The second set of pulses depicts a fully functional pulse which has to go through several sets of contacts; in this case the slew rates are additive. As the pulse goes through each set of contacts it continues to lose additional rise and fall times until it becomes barely recognizable.
