Welcome to the RECOM Powering Sensor Technology in Industry 4.0 product training module. This presentation will highlight some recent challenges to the electronic industry in light of actual and future developments, which may make current solutions in the electronics industry obsolete. Many systems are in need of alternatives to running additional cables to supply sensor applications. This creates a demand for components that make solutions such as these feasible to modern sensors. New versatile and efficient electronic components open the possibility to use energy more efficiently, therefore prolonging the lifetime of the sensor application and also allowing multiple and intelligent sensors to be considered.
