Snaps-Slide5

That last part of a snap action type switch is the snap action structure itself. This is the design of the switch which causes the contacts to open and close as the actuator is pressed. The snap action assembly is housed within the body of the switch and is tied directly to the contacts. The internal switching assembly is in turn connected to the terminals for connection to outside wiring or circuits.
