Another consideration when choosing a snap switch is the actuator force required to get the contact to switch. The FP (Free Position) is the position of the actuator when no force is being applied. The RP (Release Position) is the point at which the common contact separates from the NO contact and snaps back to the NC, when the actuator is slowly released.
