Snaps-Slide3

There are 5 major components to a snap switch: the actuator, contact, case, terminal, and the snap action structure. The switch is operated by depressing the actuator. The switches are offered in various actuation forces which are typically specified in units of gram-force or newtons. Mounting a lever over the actuator will further reduce the force required to trip the switch.
