ISSI eMMC comes in industry standard JEDEC compliant 153 ball BGA package as well as 100 ball BGA package. It can be mounted firmly on board against vibration. Shown here are the pin assignments for both the 100 ball and 153 ball options. If a customer is using the 100 ball package and using eMMC version 4.x, which does not support the HS400 mode of operation, in that case, there is no need to use the J5 and K5 pins. Those are only needed if the customer wants to run the interface at 200 MHz DDR which is the HS400 mode.
