PowerStor Supercapacitors Slide 9

Operating life is measured as the time it takes for capacitance to fall by 30% from the initial value, the time it takes for this to happen varies depending on the capacitor charge voltage and operating temperature. To prolong the operating life at high temperatures, from 70 degrees up to 85 degrees Celsius, it is recommended that the operating voltage be de-rated from 2.5 Volts to 1.8 Volts.
