This slide illustrates how the parallel NVSRAM can be a better solution by simplifying a complex BBSRAM-based design, choosing NVSRAM as the parallel nonvolatile memory device to produce more reliable performance for mission critical applications at a lower cost. A complex BBSRAM based design requires a standard SRAM with a battery as a energy resource to retain data on power loss and extra board area for the battery. This can all be replaced by a simpler and more reliable solution, choosing a battery free parallel NVSRAM. This is advantageous in mission critical applications like RAID storage, industrial automation, computing, networking, avionics and defense, and electronic gaming.
